Reviews and Ratings
I had a great holiday overall, but the check-in process was a bit frustrating with a long wait. The location is fantastic for visiting nearby attractions and the amenities such as pools and food options were good. However, the service, especially during our stay, could be improved as we faced issues with room cleaning and reservations for dinner. Still, the overall experience was positive and enjoyable.
I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful resort in Mexico! The staff was incredibly friendly and made our experience special, especially in the Royal Club. The dining options were good, with the Oriental restaurant being a personal favorite, although the buffet could have had a better selection. The location, set in the jungle with lovely wildlife, was stunning. Unfortunately, the pool water was too cold for swimming, and some other guests were quite rude at times.
The Occidental at Xcaret offers a unique experience with its beautiful surroundings and attentive staff, especially in the Royal Club where service is top-notch. However, the quality of dining and general wait times could be improved, and some amenities seem to be lacking. The room situation can also be frustrating, especially if requests are not met timely.
My stay at the resort had its highs and lows. The wildlife and scenery are absolutely stunning, and the waitstaff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the check-in process was awkward, and I encountered serious issues with the condition of my room. The dining options were lacking in quality, and I left feeling like I could have had a much better experience elsewhere despite the beautiful setting.
